10 Questions for Adam:

1. When did you know you wanted to sing professionally?

I never had a light bulb ‘I want to sing professionally’ moment.  I went to school for Vocal Performance and always had it in the back of my head that singing professionally was the goal.  The real trick was being fortunate enough to find an opportunity like Cantus to actually be able to do it!

2. If you could commission any composer for Cantus (alive or deceased) who would it be and why?

If I could commission any composer I would choose Veljo Tormis because his works for TTBB choirs are amazing.

3. What country would you most like to visit with Cantus and why?

I have been passively (as in not trying hard enough) to learn German for a couple of years now, so I would like to visit Germany with Cantus.

4. If you stumbled across a time machine, which decade would you visit and why?

I would visit the 2000’s and invest in Google.

5. What’s your favorite hobby outside of singing?

In my free time I make Bull Whips. Check out my Etsy shop! www.whipworms.etsy.com

6. If you could hang out with any celebrity (alive or deceased) who would it be and why?

I’d rather hang out with my friends.

7. What is the most played album in your iTunes library?

I don’t have iTunes, PC to the core!

8. You’re stranded on an island – which three books or movies do you bring for entertainment?

If I were stranded on an island I’d bring Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Matrix, and Star Wars Episode V. Then a laptop with satellite internet service to play them on. 🙂

9. What do you want people to know about Cantus?

I want people to know that if you come to a Cantus show, you will not be disappointed! Unless you are…

10. Share with us one of your greatest days ever.

One of my greatest days ever was the day I joined Cantus!
